NCAAB 12/19

One of those days on Wednesday, went 1-6 with a combo of bad capping and some bad luck. No way to hide it, I’m cold right now. This isn’t my first cold streak and I guarantee you it won’t be my last. When you mix a cold spell with bad luck this is what it looks like… Syracuse lost cover by 1, UNC lost cover by 0.5, Xavier lost cover by 2 and so it goes. The good news is it’s only mid December and I have 3.5 months of season to go. No pity party here, just keep it moving forward here’s what I have for Thursday….

Eastern Kentucky/Marshall Ov 158: I know efficiency wise both offenses are shaky but the pace here should be through the roof. EKU 3rd in the nation in adjusted tempo, Marshall 14th in nation in adjusted tempo and 3rd in average offensive possession length. 82-83 possession type game is very realistic. Unless the offense is just putrid it should hit. Get your track shoes on.

Seton Hall (+6.5): The losses of Powell and Mamu for Seton Hall are both very well known at this point and I think the market has actually gone a little too far in over-reacting to them. No doubt those two are very important but they still have some nice pieces. Also even without Mamu a nice size advantage.

UT Arlington (+3): Arlington one of those teams I think is better than their record shows. That record also a product of the 13th toughest schedule in the nation. Single digit losses at Gonzaga, Nevada and Houston, 1 point neutral court loss to Furman. To me this game is a coinflip and I made the line PK. Will happily take my chances with 3 points in my back pocket.

Summary:

Eastern Kentucky/Marshall Ov 158
Seton Hall (+6.5)

UT Arlington (+3)
