Went 2-2 yesterday with wins on the Colts and Redskins, but losses with the Saints and Jets. So it’ll be this game tonight that decides if Week 3 is going to be a winning one or not. Here’s what I’ve got….
Giants (-3): I think there’s a bit of overreaction against the Giants here due to their poor performance against the Cowboys last Sunday night. I’m hearing things like Eli Manning is done, him and Marshall aren’t going to be able to click, the offensive line is horrible, etc etc. I think Odell Beckham Jr. will play tonight but obviously I’d be lying if I said I knew for sure. If he ends up having to sit out I’ll still take my chances with the G-Men at home laying only 3. I love Matt Stafford but his Lions were pretty opportunistic with the Cardinals turning it over 4 times against them last week. Per usual this is a very one dimensional team offensively. Yes they scored 35 points last week but it was done with their two main running backs combining for just 52 yards on 21 carries. For them to win tonight you’d figure Stafford will have to go nuts again, plus they’ll need to again win the turnover battle. Say what you want about Eli but he and this team have been through a lot and I’m perfectly fine putting my money on a bounce back performance from them.
