Still a winning night on Tuesday but a 2-0 melt by Toronto with 7 minutes left prevented it from being a very big night. Have now fought my way back to nearly even for the season, hopefully today is the day we move back into the black. Here’s what I’ve got…

Senators (+110): I’m going to take another crack at it against the Sharks on the 2nd end of a back to back tonight. I’d expect Jones will get a night off and that it’ll be Dell in net for the Sharks which right off the bat helps us a bit. Dell has been respectable this year but he’s the backup for a reason. Clearly getting him instead of Jones helps Ottawa tonight. Overall I’ll admit I think the Sharks are the better team here, I’m mostly just playing the situation and hoping for tired legs on the San Jose side.

Bruins (+145): At some point some of these pucks have to start going into the net for Bruins right? On the year they are 2nd in the NHL with 33 shots on goal per game, but only 25th in the league with 2.30 goals scored per game. Per usual the defense and goal tending has been solid with these team as they only allow 2.33 goals per contest, ranking them 8th best in the league. You can certainly score on the Penguins and they give up their fair share of shots on goal, so I’m fully expecting around 33 to 35 shots on goal tonight for Boston. Just hoping these percentages start to even out a bit and 3 or 4 of them find the back of the net. Obviously taking a team playing at Pittsburgh is never easy to do, but a team as good as I think Boston can be is tough to pass on at this price.
